Uvalde Ministerial Alliance Mission Statement

The Uvalde Ministerial Alliance, as a witness of unity among the churches, strives to be a strong Gospel presence of compassion and service to Uvalde County and beyond.

Connecting Community Needs With Willing Help

The tragic event on May 24, 2022, at Robb Elementary in our community of Uvalde was an unexpected turning point in our lives and our town forever. The families of those who lost children grieve deeply, and the community at large grieves deeply as a family with them. Yet, in the midst of this suffering, the outpouring of love and unity through acts of service and compassion has been unprecedented. Uvalde has come together to support one another and mend each other’s wounds in staggering ways. People from across the nation and the world have poured into our community with love and care that has been breathtaking. This response of turning to God and each other in faith and love is why we know we will rise up out of these ashes, stronger on the other side. It is why we know there is Hope for Uvalde.

The people of Uvalde express profound, heartfelt gratitude for all the help that has already come from so many compassionate people - first responders & law enforcement, counselors, chaplains, comfort dogs and their handlers, cooks, servers, those sending gifts and provision, those offering labor services, everyone praying for us, and so much more. We are also grateful for those who have offered their support for a future time when we will need it.

This website has been created as an outreach of the Uvalde Ministerial Alliance in an effort to organize and connect community needs with willing help. The city government, the Uvalde CISD, the faith community, and non-profit organizations each carry part of the load. We are here to help them all work together, so nothing falls through the cracks. If you have a heart to help, please look through this website for information regarding the various ways you can provide assistance.
